Since the first company was founded in 1969, HEGMANNS has continuously made a name for itself and today stands for excellent engineering services in all aspects of the construction and modernisation of plants - including in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, new energies (hydrogen), environmental and future technologies sectors. As part of the HEGMANNS Group, HEGMANNS AG has taken over the administrative tasks of the group of companies since 2014.

Our history
Family business for over 50 years

The history of HEGMANNS AG goes back to 1969, the year in which brothers Hans-Dieter and Gerhard Hegmanns founded their first company in Gelsenkirchen-Erle - H&G Hegmanns Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH.

On 1 January 2014, they merged with various engineering service providers from Europe and founded HEGMANNS AG. Stefan Hegmanns was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board. 

Today, the HEGMANNS Group is one of the largest family-run engineering firms in Germany with around 900 employees and over 20 national and international locations.
